BlockBeats News, 4 de noviembre, según Bloomberg, Coinbase Inc. ha decidido retirar su demanda contra DynaPass Inc. DynaPass había afirmado que esta empresa de software acusó sin fundamento al exchange de criptomonedas de infringir una patente relacionada con la 2fa-4606">autenticación de dos factores.
Según un aviso de desestimación presentado el 31 de octubre ante el Tribunal de Distrito de los Estados Unidos para el Distrito Norte de California, las partes llegaron a un acuerdo que incluye un pacto: DynaPass no demandará a Coinbase, a sus clientes, proveedores, socios u otros miembros del grupo de defensa sin fines de lucro Crypto Open Patent Alliance.
En una demanda presentada en septiembre, Coinbase buscó una sentencia declarativa del tribunal para confirmar que la empresa no infringió la Patente de EE. UU. N.º 6,993,658 de DynaPass y planteó dudas sobre la validez de dicha patente.
