BlockBeats News, 28 de octubre, según un informe de The Wall Street Journal, OceanPal Inc. ha anunciado hoy que ha completado una transacción de inversión privada en capital público (PIPE) de 120 millones de dólares para la compra y venta de acciones ordinarias y/o warrants prefinanciados.
La compañía planea utilizar los ingresos netos de esta transacción para ejecutar una estrategia de tesorería de activos digitales a través de su filial, SovereignAI Services LLC ("SovereignAI"), centrándose en la comercialización de NEAR Protocol, una plataforma blockchain diseñada para casos de uso de inteligencia artificial (IA).
A través de esta transacción, OceanPal espera convertirse en el principal vehículo de inversión pública a través de SovereignAI, proporcionando a los inversores exposición a NEAR (el token nativo de NEAR Protocol) y a la infraestructura de IA subyacente necesaria para respaldar operaciones comerciales autónomas.
