El mercado de trading de futuros de tipos de interés a corto plazo continuó aumentando las apuestas por un recorte de tipos de la Fed, pasando de esperar al menos dos recortes para fin de año a apostar por cuatro recortes consecutivos de septiembre a enero del próximo año, y finalmente descontando tres recortes para fin de año, lo que indica que la Fed recortará los tipos en todas las reuniones restantes de este año.
Sin embargo, el crecimiento del IPC de agosto fue más fuerte de lo esperado, lo que podría evitar que la Fed recorte los tipos significativamente.
