اریک ترامپ، فرزند دونالد ترامپ رئیسجمهور آمریکا و همبنیانگذار American BTC-42">بیتکوین، در کنفرانس Consensus اظهار داشت که موسسات مالی سنتی در حال تغییر نگرش خود نسبت به بیتکوین هستند. او از جیپیمورگان به عنوان نمونه یاد کرد و خاطرنشان کرد که این موسسه ۱۸ ماه پیش همچنان بیتکوین را «کمارزش» جلوه میداد، اما اکنون به مشتریان اجازه میدهد از داراییهای بیتکوین خود به عنوان وثیقه برای دریافت وام مسکن استفاده کنند.
