دادگاه نامیبیا قرار وثیقه ۸ متهم پرونده کلاهبرداری ارز دیجیتال و قاچاق انسان را لغو کرد

به گزارش Bitcoin.com، دادگاه عالی ویندهوک در نامیبیا، قرار وثیقه ۸ متهم غایب در پرونده کلاهبرداری ارز دیجیتال و قاچاق انسان را لغو و حدود ۲۹,۸۰۰ دلار مبلغ وثیقه را ضبط کرد. دادستانی اعلام کرد که این ۸ نفر شامل ۶ تبعه چین، ۱ تبعه وانواتو و ۱ تبعه سنگاپور هستند که ۶ مظنون چینی به چین گریختهاند. مقامات نامیبیا برای یافتن آنها از اینترپل درخواست کمک کردهاند.
این گروه مجرمانه از دسامبر ۲۰۲۲ تا اکتبر ۲۰۲۳ تحت پوشش شرکتی به نام Raylon Investments فعالیت میکرد. این گروه متهم است که افراد بیکار نامیبیایی را جذب و مجبور به کار اجباری کرده است. دولت اعلام کرد که این کارمندان مجبور بودند با ایجاد حسابهای کاربری جعلی در شبکههای اجتماعی و جعل هویت زنان اروپایی و آمریکایی، قربانیان بینالمللی را به روابط عاطفی ترغیب کنند. پس از جلب اعتماد، قربانیان فریب خورده و مبالغی را به حسابهای ارز دیجیتال تحت کنترل این گروه واریز میکردند. بازرسان تخمین میزنند که این گروه حدود ۲۶۷,۸۰۰ دلار از قربانیان در سراسر جهان سرقت کرده است.
