در تاریخ ۲۴ اکتبر، بلاکبیتس نیوز اعلام کرد که ریپل خرید هیدن رود (Hidden Road) را تکمیل کرده است و اکنون نام آن به ریپل پرایم (Ripple Prime) تغییر یافته است. هیدن رود پیش از این خدماتی از جمله تسویه حساب، کارگزاری پرایم، ارز خارجی (FX)، داراییهای دیجیتال، مشتقات، سوآپها و تأمین مالی با درآمد ثابت را به مؤسسات ارائه میداد. این خرید، ریپل را به یک شرکت ارز دیجیتال تبدیل میکند که مالک و گرداننده یک کارگزاری جهانی چند دارایی برتر است.
از زمان اعلام این خرید، کسب و کار ریپل پرایم سه برابر رشد کرده است و انتظار میرود رشد بیشتری نیز داشته باشد. ریپل پرایم (Ripple Prime) کاربرد و پوشش استیبل کوین ریپل، RLUSD، را افزایش خواهد داد. در حال حاضر، RLUSD به عنوان وثیقه برای محصولات مختلف کارگزاریهای برتر استفاده شده است. برخی از مشتریان مشتقات، نگهداری RLUSD را انتخاب کردهاند.
