به گزارش بیتکوین نیوز، نیک بگیچ، نماینده کنگره آمریکا، «قانون نوسازی ذخایر آمریکا» را معرفی کرده است که تاکنون ۱۶ حامی اولیه دارد. این لایحه یک ذخیره استراتژیک بیتکوین ایجاد میکند، داراییهای دیجیتال تحت مالکیت فدرال را یکپارچه کرده و آنها را به عنوان داراییهای ذخیره بلندمدت برای حداقل ۲۰ سال تثبیت میکند.
این لایحه همچنین استراتژیهای خرید بیتکوین با بودجه خنثی را بررسی میکند و در عین حال از این ذخایر در برابر تلاشهای آتی دولت و کنگره برای نقد کردن آنها محافظت مینماید. رسانهها اعلام کردند که ذخیره استراتژیک بیتکوین که توسط ترامپ از طریق یک فرمان اجرایی ایجاد شده، با «قانون نوسازی ذخایر آمریکا» به طور رسمی به قانون تبدیل خواهد شد.
