De acordo com o "Relatório de Status de Stablecoin de 2025" da Fireblocks, o volume de negociação de stablecoins de euro processado por provedores de serviços de ativos virtuais (VASP) de varejo cresceu 12 vezes em 15 meses, atingindo US$ 777 milhões.
Bancos europeus e empresas de fintech estão acelerando a produção e implementação de stablecoins em conformidade após a implementação do Regulamento de Mercados de Criptoativos (MiCA) da UE. O Banking Circle e a SG-Forge tornaram-se pioneiros em stablecoins em conformidade com o MiCA, lançando os ativos digitais lastreados em euro EURI e EURCV, respectivamente, ambos expandindo atualmente suas operações de produção.
Esse crescimento reflete uma transformação mais ampla da infraestrutura europeia de ativos digitais, à medida que os bancos passaram de projetos-piloto para a construção de sistemas de produção para ativos tokenizados e trilhos de pagamento de stablecoins.
