BlockBeats News, 3 de septiembre, la empresa de criptomonedas que cotiza en el Nasdaq, Galaxy Digital, lanzó un plan para "tokenizar sus acciones registradas en la SEC y desplegarlas en una blockchain convencional". A partir de hoy, los accionistas pueden tokenizar las acciones GLXY a través de la plataforma Opening Bell de Superstate.
El anuncio indicó que las acciones tokenizadas de Galaxy y sus futuras cotizaciones en Opening Bell podrían proporcionar mayor liquidez y utilidad a través de creadores de mercado automatizados (AMMs) y otras plataformas DeFi. Las acciones tokenizadas de Galaxy solo estarán disponibles para inversores acreditados verificados mediante KYC, quienes podrán mantener y transferir estos tokens en sus propios monederos de criptomonedas.
En mayo de este año, Superstate lanzó Opening Bell, con el objetivo de llevar acciones registradas en la SEC a la cadena, comenzando con Solana. Si bien varios proyectos han intentado integrar acciones que cotizan en bolsa con la infraestructura de blockchain, Opening Bell afirma ser la primera plataforma en ofrecer la emisión directa y el comercio en cadena de acciones públicas registradas en la SEC, en lugar de versiones sintéticas o envueltas.
