Según The Block, la gran firma de trading IG Europe se ha asociado con Bitpanda para expandir su negocio de activos digitales en la Unión Europea. IG Europe ha tomado varias medidas en los últimos meses para hacer crecer su negocio de criptomonedas, incluida la adquisición del exchange de criptomonedas australiano Independent Reserve y la obtención de una licencia MiCA, lo que le permite ofrecer productos y servicios de criptomonedas en toda la UE.
IG también vendió su plataforma de trading de futuros Small Exchange Inc, adquirida en 2023, a Kraken.
