به گزارش کریپتوپولیتن، کمیته مالی مجلس نمایندگان آلمان (بوندستاگ) پیشنهاد حزب سبز برای افزایش مالیات بر ارزهای دیجیتال را که با هدف حذف معافیت مالیاتی فروش ارزهای دیجیتالِ نگهداریشده بیش از یک سال ارائه شده بود، رد کرد. در حال حاضر، قوانین آلمان مقرر میدارد که سود حاصل از فروش ارزهای دیجیتالی که بیش از یک سال نگهداری شدهاند، از مالیات بر عایدی سرمایه معاف است. حزب سبز این مقررات را غیرمنطقی میداند و استدلال میکند که داراییهای دیجیتال باید مشابه سایر سرمایهگذاریها با آنها برخورد شود.
