Selon TechCrunch, Trump Mobile aurait subi une fuite de données impliquant des informations personnelles, telles que les adresses e-mail et postales des clients, toujours accessibles en ligne.

Les créateurs YouTube Coffeezilla et penguinz0 ont déclaré qu'après avoir commandé le téléphone Trump Gold T1, ils ont reçu des alertes de chercheurs en sécurité indiquant que leurs informations personnelles figuraient dans l'ensemble de données ayant fuité. Coffeezilla a précisé que le contenu divulgué couvrait la quasi-totalité des informations d'identité de base, à l'exception des numéros de carte bancaire, et a conseillé aux utilisateurs de ne pas passer commande sur la plateforme. Les deux créateurs ont indiqué que les données provenaient probablement de systèmes accessibles au public, et qu'ils n'avaient reçu aucune réponse officielle ni correctif de la part de Trump Mobile, laissant le problème non résolu.

D'après les numéros de commande présents dans les données divulguées, le nombre réel de réservations est estimé à environ 30 000 unités, bien en deçà des prévisions de prévente initiales d'environ 590 000. Les analystes estiment que cet incident soulève davantage de doutes quant à la livraison des produits et aux capacités de sécurité de base de Trump Mobile.
