وفقاً لـ The Block، نشر الباحث السابق في مؤسسة Ethereum، دانكراد فايست، على منصة X مقترحاً لتأسيس منظمة جديدة تتماشى مع اقتصاد Ethereum بهدف "إنقاذ" Ethereum. ويرى أن مؤسسة Ethereum تمتلك حالياً أقل من 0.1% من ETH، دون تدفق دخل من التخزين أو الرسوم، لذا تحتاج المنظمة الجديدة إلى جمع مليار دولار على الأقل كتمويل، يديرها قادة أكفاء، مع تخصيص جزء من الأموال من دخل التخزين، وبدعم من مجلس إدارة أكثر مسؤولية لتعزيز سعر Ethereum.
غادر فايست المؤسسة العام الماضي للانضمام إلى شبكة الطبقة الأولى (Layer 1) Tempo. وقد شارك في ابتكار تصميم Danksharding في مجتمع Ethereum لتعزيز قابلية التوسع في الطبقة الثانية (Layer 2)، كما عُين مستشاراً استراتيجياً في مجالات مثل توسيع نطاق L1 وتجربة المستخدم خلال إعادة هيكلة قيادة المؤسسة، واقترح EIP-9698، الذي من شأنه زيادة حد الغاز (Gas limit) بمقدار 100 ضعف.
