Según fuentes oficiales, YZi Labs anunció una inversión en Renewal Bio, una empresa de medicina regenerativa que utiliza tecnología de biología del desarrollo para generar células y tejidos humanos con ADN coincidente a partir de células madre pluripotentes derivadas de pacientes.
Renewal Bio aborda la escasez global de órganos y células a través de su plataforma de desarrollo Stembroid, que puede generar células y tejidos humanos totalmente compatibles genéticamente con el ADN del donante para trasplantes.
Esta nueva ronda de financiación acelerará el desarrollo preclínico de células madre hematopoyéticas (HSCs) derivadas de Stembroid para leucemia y trastornos inmunológicos, y ampliará la investigación sobre células de hígado, corazón y páncreas.
