بلوك بيتس نيوز، 29 أكتوبر/تشرين الأول، من المقرر أن يعلن مجلس الاحتياطي الفيدرالي عن قراره بشأن أسعار الفائدة الليلة (2 صباحًا بتوقيت بكين يوم الخميس)، يليه المؤتمر الصحفي لرئيس مجلس الاحتياطي الفيدرالي جيروم باول بشأن السياسة النقدية (2:30 صباحًا). لم يعد السوق يركز على خفض واحد لأسعار الفائدة في حد ذاته، وتحول تركيز السياسة إلى "تكرار ووتيرة خفض أسعار الفائدة".
وبحسب أداة "FedWatch" التابعة لشركة CME، فإنه قبيل قرار أسعار الفائدة الليلة، فإن احتمال خفض أسعار الفائدة بمقدار 25 نقطة أساس من قبل بنك الاحتياطي الفيدرالي في أكتوبر/تشرين الأول يبلغ حاليا 99.4%، في حين أن احتمال بقاء أسعار الفائدة دون تغيير هو 0.6%.
احتمال خفض سعر الفائدة بمقدار 50 نقطة أساس تراكمي من قبل بنك الاحتياطي الفيدرالي بحلول ديسمبر هو 91.3% حاليا، واحتمال خفض سعر الفائدة بمقدار 25 نقطة أساس تراكمي هو 8.6%، واحتمال بقاء الأسعار دون تغيير هو 0.1%. ومن المقرر أن يعقد الاجتماعان المقبلان للجنة السوق المفتوحة الفيدرالية في 29 أكتوبر/تشرين الأول و10 ديسمبر/كانون الأول.
