Greeks.live: Nearly $6 billion in options were delivered this week, including 41,000 BTC options
Odaily News Greeks.live macro trader Adam released data showing that 41,000 BTC options expired on July 18, with a Put Call Ratio of 0.78, a maximum pain point of $114,000, and a notional value of $4.93 billion. 240,000 ETH options expired, with a Put Call Ratio of 1.0, a maximum pain point of $2,950, and a notional value of $880 million.
This week, nearly $6 billion of options were delivered, accounting for more than 10% of the current total positions. From the main options data, in terms of implied volatility, BTCs IV rebounded slightly, and the main term IV remained at 40%. ETHs IV rose sharply, with the main term as high as 70%, but ETH has a large room for both rise and fall, and sellers have not yet entered the market.
