Arm Holdings (NASDAQ: ARM) reports fiscal first-quarter 2027 results after the US close on July 29, 2026, with the analyst call at 2:00 pm Pacific. Management guided to revenue of $1.26 billion plus or minus $50 million and non-GAAP EPS of $0.40 plus or minus $0.04 when it published Q4 FY2026 results on May 6, 2026 — roughly 20% year-over-year growth in both royalty and licensing. Consensus sits on the guidance midpoint, which means beating the headline is close to table stakes.

The number that actually decides how the stock trades is buried further down: how much of the $2 billion AGI CPU order book Arm has now secured chip supply, memory and packaging for. As of the May print, that figure was $1 billion. The other billion is unsecured, and it is the single most important disclosure in this Arm earnings report.

    Arm Earnings Q1 FY2027: The src=

That gap also matters more than usual for anyone holding leveraged exposure. Arm shares closed at $254.50 on July 27, 2026, down about 28% in a month after peaking near $347 in late June — a stock already trading on sentiment rather than the print.

Arm earnings date, guidance and the bar Arm has to clear

Arm's fiscal year ends March 31, so "Q1 FY2027" is the April–June calendar quarter. This trips up more traders than it should, particularly when comparing Arm against calendar-year semiconductor names.

    MetricQ1 FY2027 guidance / consensusQ4 FY2026 actualFY2026 full year

    Non-GAAP EPS$0.40 ±$0.04$0.60 (record)—

Guidance issued May 6, 2026 with Q4 FY2026 results; FY2026 free cash flow was $882 million, up roughly 396% year over year, on a 92.5% gross margin.

Note the shape of the year. Consensus has EPS growth cooling to about 14% this quarter and 11% next, then jumping to roughly 28% and 29% in the back half of FY2027. The bull case is not this quarter's number — it is whether management still sounds confident about the second half.

Why data center royalty is the only line that matters

Royalty revenue is where Arm's leverage lives, and within it, the data center line is doing the work. Data center royalties more than doubled year over year in Q4 FY2026, and management expects them to double again across FY2027. Arm-based CPU compute now holds roughly 50% share among top hyperscalers.

The reason is architectural, not promotional. Google replaced x86 host processors with its Arm-based Axion CPUs for the TPU8t and TPU8i generations. NVIDIA's next-generation Vera CPU is Arm-based, so every Vera rack pays Arm a royalty. Microsoft's Cobalt is deployed across a large share of Azure regions. AWS's custom silicon line, Graviton included, is running above $20 billion annualized. Arm no longer needs to win the accelerator socket — it collects on the head node next to it.

Total royalty grew only 11% last quarter, which looks soft against a doubling data center line. That is the smartphone base doing what it always does: growing slowly. Watch the split, not the total.

The $1 billion supply gap behind Arm's AGI CPU order book

At the Arm Everywhere event on March 24, 2026, Arm launched the Arm AGI CPU — its first production silicon rather than licensed IP, built for agentic AI, with Meta as lead partner and co-developer. By the May call, CEO Rene Haas said customer demand had passed $2 billion across FY2027 and FY2028, double what the company had stated six weeks earlier. Cerebras, OpenAI, Positron and Rebellions are integrating it; ASRock, Lenovo, Quanta and Supermicro sell systems built on it.

Here is the catch. Arm has secured wafer, memory and advanced packaging capacity for only the first $1 billion of that demand. Booked demand you cannot manufacture is not revenue — and in a market where HBM and CoWoS-class packaging are allocated a year out, the constraint is real, not rhetorical. That unsecured second billion is why the stock fell 5.5% after the May print despite an earnings beat.

The more useful reading is that this quarter's revenue is largely already known, and the disclosure that reprices the stock is a supply update. If Arm says it has locked capacity for the full $2 billion, the FY2028 estimate line moves. If it repeats "the first billion," the stock is likely to be judged on the same complaint that broke it in July.

How Arm earnings reprice ARM-USDT while Nasdaq is closed

This is the part most earnings previews skip, and it is the part that costs leveraged traders money.

Arm reports after the US cash close. The Nasdaq listing stops trading; the perpetual does not. ARM/USDT perpetual futures on WEEX are USDT-margined, have no expiry, and run 24/7 with up to 100× leverage — so the entire repricing happens live in the perp, during the thinnest liquidity window of the day, while the equity holder simply waits for the next open.

Nasdaq: ARM (cash equity)ARM/USDT perpetual on WEEX
Open when earnings dropNo — after-hours only, via brokerYes, continuously
LeverageLimited by margin rulesUp to 100×
    Carry costNoneFunding rate, paid periodically
What you holdADSs, economic interestPrice exposure only — no equity, votes or dividends
Main earnings-night riskGap at next openLiquidation during the move itself

Two practical consequences. First, a position that would survive a 15% gap in a cash account can be liquidated at 20× before the move even finishes, because the perp prints every tick of it. Second, funding tends to swing hard around scheduled events as one side crowds in — carrying a leveraged position into the print means paying for the privilege of being right slowly. Sizing down before the release and adding after the tape settles is the boring answer, and it is boring for a reason. If you want the mechanics of the instrument itself rather than the trade, WEEX's explainer on what ARMUSDT is and how TradFi-style exposure works covers funding, collateral and off-hours spreads.

What experienced traders will actually listen for

The prepared remarks will lead with records. The call is where the information is. Three things to listen for: whether "secured supply" moves past $1 billion; whether management repeats that data center royalty doubles again in FY2027, or softens it to a range; and whether the FY2031 target of roughly $15 billion in annual data center revenue is restated unchanged.

Also keep the ownership structure in view. SoftBank holds roughly 86% of Arm, so the free float is small. Thin float is why a 28% drawdown happened in a month on no company-specific bad news, and it is why the reaction to this Arm earnings report may overshoot in either direction. For the standing background on the business, listing structure and how ARM exposure is accessed, see WEEX's Arm Holdings (ARM) stock page.

The bottom line on Arm earnings: consensus already assumes the quarter is fine. Price the call, not the print — and specifically, price the supply update.

    FAQ

    1. When does Arm report Q1 FY2027 earnings?

July 29, 2026, after the US market close, with the conference call at 2:00 pm Pacific Time (5:00 pm Eastern). Arm's fiscal year ends March 31, so Q1 FY2027 covers April through June 2026.

    2. What is Arm's guidance for the quarter?

Revenue of $1.26 billion plus or minus $50 million, non-GAAP EPS of $0.40 plus or minus $0.04, and non-GAAP operating expenses around $760 million, issued on May 6, 2026. Management guided both royalty and licensing to grow roughly 20% year over year.

    3. Why did Arm stock fall 28% into this Arm earnings report?

Shares fell from roughly $347 in late June to $254.50 on July 27, 2026, without a company-specific event. The drawdown reflects a broad de-rating of AI infrastructure names plus the unresolved question of whether Arm can manufacture the AGI CPU demand it has booked. Arm's small free float — SoftBank holds around 86% — amplifies moves in both directions.

    4. What is the $2 billion AGI CPU order book?

Customer demand for the Arm AGI CPU across FY2027 and FY2028, confirmed by CEO Rene Haas in May 2026 and double the figure given at the March 24 launch. Arm has secured chip supply, memory and packaging for only the first $1 billion of it.

    5. Can I trade Arm earnings without a US brokerage account?

Yes, through price-linked instruments rather than the stock. WEEX lists an ARM/USDT perpetual future, USDT-margined with no expiry, and a tokenized stock (ARMON). Both give price exposure only — no equity, no voting rights, no dividends. Arm pays no dividend on the underlying shares either.

    6. Does Arm actually manufacture chips?

No. Arm licenses CPU architecture and designs and collects a royalty per chip shipped — which is why gross margin runs above 92%. The Arm AGI CPU is the exception: it is Arm's first production silicon product, launched March 24, 2026.

    Risk Warning

Trading around a scheduled earnings release is one of the highest-risk activities in either equity or crypto markets. Arm's Q1 FY2027 results land after the US cash close, so ARM-linked perpetuals and tokenized stocks will absorb the entire repricing during a low-liquidity window: spreads widen, order book depth thins, and slippage on stops can be severe. At up to 100× leverage, a move well inside a normal earnings reaction can trigger liquidation before the price settles. Funding costs accrue on perpetual positions and typically spike around scheduled events.

Understand what you are holding. An ARM/USDT perpetual or a tokenized stock such as ARMON gives economic exposure to Arm's price only — no equity, no voting rights, no dividend entitlement, and no guarantee that the instrument tracks the underlying precisely at every moment. Arm's own risks include royalty exposure to the semiconductor cycle, customer concentration, competition from RISC-V, China and export-control exposure, and a free float of roughly 14% that magnifies volatility. Guidance and management targets referenced here are forward-looking statements that may not be met.
