Goldman Sachs is in talks with potential investors to participate in Nvidia's $500 billion AI financing plan. Leveraging its long-standing relationship with Nvidia, Goldman Sachs has secured a role in this transaction. It is expected that U.S. insurance companies, asset management firms, and banks will form the core investor group for the financing, with asset management firms planning to hold a significant share of the financing. Nvidia announced on August 10 that it is collaborating with six major financial institutions, including Goldman Sachs, to launch a computing platform aimed at raising over $500 billion in third-party capital for AI infrastructure. Goldman Sachs can provide subordinated capital and private credit financing through its asset management division, while its investment banking division will assist in allocating the related debt to private credit funds, ultimately entering the public bond market.
