Hu Xiaowei of Prince Group Deported to the United States

On August 1, Hu Xiaowei, a key figure in the Prince Group, left Japan on July 29 and was deported to the United States. Personnel from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) have already contacted him, and further investigations will be conducted in the U.S. During his time in Japan, Hu used a Cypriot passport and operated under the name "Hu Shi." He was arrested by Japanese police in June this year on suspicion of violating Japan's Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act. On July 24, the Japanese prosecution filed a summary indictment against him, imposing a fine equivalent to approximately 100,000 RMB. Hu Xiaowei played an important role in the criminal group led by Chen Zhi, guiding Chen into the online gray industry. He is also known as Hu Yanming, Hu Shi (phonetic), and Chen Xiaoer. Authoritative sources reveal that Chen Xiaoer, who is under U.S. sanctions, Hu Yanming, who has been issued a restriction order by the Hong Kong Department of Justice, and Hu Xiaowei, who was the mastermind behind the illegal intrusion of computer systems by the "Knight Attack Group" caught by Chongqing Cyber Police in 2010, are the same person. According to testimonies from core members of the "Knight Attack Group" at that time, Hu Xiaowei was one of the two leaders in the group, while Chen Zhi was one of the members and was not on the list of 19 core arrest members.
