Arbitrum Proposes Adding 100 Million ARB to Promote USDG Adoption
The Arbitrum governance forum shows that Entropy has initiated a vote proposing to make the stablecoin USDG, issued by Paxos, a core strategic plan of ArbitrumDAO. The proposal includes adding 100 million ARB from the DAO treasury for the DeFi incentive program DRIP, adjusting the seasonal structure, expanding the scope of permitted activities, and extending the duration; transferring the net fee revenue from the Arbitrum Expansion Plan (AEP) to the Arbitrum Treasury Management Committee (ATMC) for conversion to USDG, and allowing ATMC to deploy assets to support USDG growth. Voting will end on October 22. Arbitrum has joined the global dollar network behind USDG, which has already launched on Arbitrum. This proposal aims to promote the adoption of USDG on Arbitrum, making the DAO a driving force for USDG ecosystem growth and a beneficiary of related economic gains.
