Where do the prices on this page come from?

Prices on WEEX market pages stream in real time from live order book and index data, updating continuously as markets move. The table shows the latest price, 24-hour change, and 24-hour trading volume for each listed pair, so you can compare assets at a glance before opening a position.

How often do prices update?

Continuously, 24/7. Crypto markets never close, so quotes refresh around the clock. For assets whose underlying market has set trading hours, price movement and liquidity may be quieter outside those hours, though WEEX still quotes them without interruption.

What can I trade on WEEX and at what leverage?

WEEX offers spot trading and USDT settled perpetual futures across crypto, precious metals, commodities, global indices, and tokenized stocks. Maximum leverage varies by contract. Some pairs support up to 400×, while others are capped lower, so check the leverage limit on the individual trading page before entering a trade.

Are WEEX prices the same as on other platforms?

They track closely but are rarely identical. Each venue has its own order book, so spot prices differ slightly with supply and demand. Perpetual futures can also diverge from spot because of funding rates and open interest. WEEX uses an index price drawn from multiple major markets to keep quotes anchored and reduce the risk of manipulation.

How do I start trading?

Create a WEEX account, complete verification, and deposit crypto or buy with fiat. From there you can trade spot directly, or move funds into your futures wallet to trade perpetual contracts. No separate account is needed for different market types.

Do I need to own an asset to trade it?

Accepted Answer

For spot trading, yes. You buy and hold the asset itself. For perpetual futures, no. Futures orders are settled in USDT, so you are taking a long or short position on price movement rather than holding the underlying. There is no expiry and no delivery, and positions stay open as long as your margin supports them.
