Agentic Payments on XRPL Exceed 13 Million Transactions
The number of transactions in agentic payments conducted by artificial intelligence agents on the XRP Ledger has reached 13,489,468. Former Ripple product manager Chandler Fang noted that the transaction count, which was around 1 million in July, has increased rapidly. J.A. Akinyele, Head of Engineering at RippleX, had predicted that these transactions would exceed 10 million, and that level has now been surpassed. According to current data, payments made through 168 registered x402 vendors resulted in 6,982.32 XRP and 12,009.98 RLUSD. Akinyele stated that if the current momentum continues, it could reach 100 million agentic transactions sooner. Fang emphasized that surpassing the 13 million transaction threshold indicates a new phase of growth. Artificial intelligence agents can make payments using XRP and RLUSD, and transactions are completed through the x402 facilitator on the XRPL. Akinyele noted that agentic payments currently account for approximately 25% of activities on the XRP Ledger. Ripple is developing a dedicated agent infrastructure to support this rapid expansion.
