Hoskinson warns White House crypto summit attendees may face probes after midterms
Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson stated that attendees of a recent White House crypto summit could face investigations if Democrats regain control of Congress in the upcoming U.S. midterm elections. Hoskinson, responding to criticism regarding his absence from the summit hosted by President Trump, noted that the event featured Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse, Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev, and Gemini co-founders Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss. He highlighted that as controversy surrounding cryptocurrency ventures linked to the Trump family intensifies, crypto policy is evolving from a bipartisan issue to a political flashpoint. Hoskinson warned that Democrats might escalate investigations into the industry over potential conflicts of interest or corruption.
