Hyperliquid Traders Exceed 400,000
The number of independent traders on Trade.xyz has surpassed 400,000. This marks a new benchmark for the user base of the hyperliquid-based derivatives trading interface. Independent traders refer to distinct participants counted without duplication. This figure serves as an indicator of platform usage scale, with Trade.xyz known for its perpetual contract trading interface within the hyperliquid ecosystem. Perpetual contracts are derivatives without expiration dates, widely used for trading major assets such as Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH). The expansion of Trade.xyz is related to discussions on diversifying trading targets, and on the same day, Trade.xyz and the Hyperliquid Policy Center requested the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) to establish regulatory pathways for energy perpetual contracts and 24-hour trading. However, it is difficult to assess trading quality based solely on the increase in independent traders. To evaluate the platform's activity, one must consider the number of Trade.xyz users, actual transaction volumes, position holdings, and fee contributions. Trade.xyz has reported that the cumulative trading volume of its hyperliquid HIP-3-based perpetual futures has exceeded $47.5 billion. Surpassing 400,000 traders signals an expansion of the user base, separate from trading volume, but the impact on the hyperliquid ecosystem and derivatives market should be analyzed alongside subsequent indicators.
