Ignas Questions Arc Enterprise Chain's Positioning and Misalignment with Crypto Culture

By: x.com|2026/09/17 01:40:00

DeFi researcher Ignas stated that the Arc network is a permissioned enterprise chain aimed at foreign exchange and payment businesses, and its team does not genuinely support crypto-native culture. In contrast, while Robinhood Chain also has enterprise attributes, it supports Ethereum-based development, uses ETH, and allocates 10% of its revenue to Arbitrum, resulting in more consistent incentives among ecosystem stakeholders. Ignas analyzed that the ARC token airdrop might be the only relatively attractive narrative for Arc, but 60% of the tokens are allocated to the "ecosystem" share, primarily used to subsidize payments, foreign exchange, and tokenization partnerships, rather than retail traders. If Arc does not present an unexpected new narrative, community users may turn to seek other more interesting opportunities.
