In July, 5,200 Diesel Cars Sold in Ukraine
In July, Ukraine's vehicle fleet was supplemented by more than 5,200 diesel cars, which is 5% less than last year. Of these, 1,300 were new (+8%), while over 3,900 were used, imported from abroad (-9%). The share of diesel cars in the new passenger car market was 22.6% compared to 18.7% in July 2025. Among the imported used cars, the share of diesel vehicles was 17.4%, which is 2 percentage points lower than last year, with an average age of 11 years. The top 5 models of new diesel passenger cars are: 1. Volkswagen Touareg - 193 units; 2. Renault Duster - 192 units; 3. Toyota LC Prado - 159 units; 4. Skoda Kodiaq - 121 units; 5. Toyota Hilux - 62 units. The top 5 imported used diesel cars are: 1. Renault Megane - 327 units; 2. Skoda Octavia - 281 units; 3. Nissan Qashqai - 251 units; 4. Volkswagen Passat - 199 units; 5. Hyundai Santa Fe - 183 units. The Toyota RAV4 became the most popular new passenger car in Ukraine in July 2026, with sales of 357 cars.
