Matter Labs Prividium Platform Completes SOC 2 Type II Audit
Matter Labs has announced that its privacy chain platform, Prividium, has completed the SOC 2 Type II audit, covering four dimensions: security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy. The audit was conducted by Thoropass Assurance, an independent auditing firm recognized by the AICPA. This audit tested the effectiveness of controls from July 1 to September 30, 2026, following the completion of the previous Type I audit earlier this year, which validated the control design as of May 29. Matter Labs stated that the Type II report is a document required by banks and regulatory agencies before the platform goes live, and it will be provided to clients and qualified potential clients after signing a confidentiality agreement. The SOC 2 certification is one of the deliverables of the ZKsync governance proposal TPP-18, which has now been completed.
