Nic Carter: Solana needs a complete overhaul to defend against quantum attacks
According to a video shared by DEGEN NEWS, Nic Carter, a partner at Castle Island Ventures, stated that Solana needs a complete rebuild to defend against quantum attacks. He pointed out, "This will be tricky for Solana because they have highly optimized around a certain variant of elliptic curve and have also made targeted optimizations at the hardware level.
The entire core idea of Solana is high throughput. Ultimately, they may adopt lattice-based cryptography, but the speed will slow down, and the throughput may decrease, which is precisely what Solana is all about."
