The improvement proposal (PIP) disclosed by the Polygon community forum shows that members propose to zero out approximately 70.49 million native POL tokens that have been blacklisted through a hard fork of the Polygon PoS mainnet, and transfer them to a designated recovery address. Among the recovered POL, about 23.86 million are related to Polymarket, and about 46.63 million are related to Binance, with the total supply remaining unchanged. The proposal is set to be introduced at the governance meeting on November 5 at 22:30 Beijing time, with the activation block and client version to be determined.
