Progress Made in Meeting Between Pakistan's Interior Minister and Iranian President

On August 25, Pakistan's Interior Minister Nadeem Ahmed and Chief of Army Staff General Munir met with Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi to discuss the conflict between Iran and the United States, the tensions in the Middle East, and future directions. The two sides also explored the necessary steps to restore the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding to achieve a comprehensive resolution of the conflict. Nadeem Ahmed stated that Raisi expressed the Iranian government's views and concerns, and the talks concluded in a positive atmosphere with significant progress. He hopes this momentum will contribute to further development and lasting peace in the region.
