On August 29, Russia struck the PepsiCo production complex in the Mykolaiv region, where Pepsi carbonated drinks and Lipton Ice Tea are produced. PepsiCo is assessing the extent of the damage and taking measures to resume product supplies in Ukraine. The nature of the damage and the timeline for the resumption of operations have not been specified. The company emphasizes that the safety of its employees is a priority and confirms that there are no casualties. PepsiCo facilities produce juices, carbonated drinks, and cold tea, including the brands Sandora and Lipton Ice Tea. Earlier reports indicated a large fire at the facility's warehouse caused by the attack. Rescuers noted that due to the threat of further attacks, they had to retreat to a safe distance before returning to extinguish the fire. The Khortytsia distillery also sustained significant damage as a result of the attack and is beyond repair.
