Russian Attack Damages Comfy Distribution Center
On August 27, a Russian attack damaged the Comfy distribution center in the Kyiv region. Gennady Verbilенко, CEO of Comfy, reported that a Russian drone deliberately struck the center. There were no injuries among the staff. Comfy continues to operate, teams are in contact, and processes have been initiated to ensure the functioning of stores and online channels. The contact center is working with customers. Comfy had previously diversified its warehouse infrastructure and optimized the operation of distribution centers, minimizing the presence of goods at the central warehouse. Russia began destroying the logistics of Ukrainian retailers in August 2026. On August 20, a Russian missile-drone attack damaged warehouses in Boryspil, which may lead to temporary disruptions in product availability, especially fresh products. Among the affected facilities: "Fainy Lidy" - the main distribution facility in Kyiv was completely destroyed; "Fora" - the fresh produce facility was damaged; Yves Rocher Ukraine - the facility was damaged, and the acceptance of online orders was suspended; "EKO Market" - logistics disruptions; a warehouse in Boryspil where Varus network supplies were stored.
