Sequence Sells 314 Bitcoins and Settles Corporate Debt
Sequence Communications announced that it has sold all 314 Bitcoins, thereby concluding its digital asset financial strategy. With this sale, the company's digital asset holdings have been reduced to zero, and all corporate debts, except for those related to government-supported research and development, have been settled. This Bitcoin disposal marks the final stage of a capital restructuring that began with the repayment of convertible bonds in May, making Sequence one of several listed companies that have moved to liquidate their digital asset holdings amid recent market volatility. The management of Sequence emphasized that this decision simplifies the financial structure and increases cash reserves, allowing the company to focus on its business as a specialist in cellular IoT and SDR semiconductors. CEO Georges Karam stated that the completion of the Bitcoin financial strategy is a significant milestone for the company, as it has repaid convertible bonds and carefully liquidated Bitcoins to establish a solid financial structure. Additionally, Sequence reported that product sales in the second quarter of 2026 increased by over 80% compared to the same period last year, and the backlog of product orders has also tripled. The development of the 5G eRedcap platform is progressing as planned.

Global markets on September 28 enter a data and earnings window. On September 25 ET the S&P 500 rose 0.51% to 7,743.41, the Nasdaq 0.48% and the Dow 0.93%. Information technology and semiconductors outperformed; energy lagged as oil eased. The 10-year yield is about 5.15% and the 30-year about 5.5%, with October hike odds around 64%–66%. Bitcoin last traded near $84,500. Investors wait on September 30 ET PCE and Micron guidance.
