Simulation of 10,000 Bitcoin Scenarios Predicts Price Could Reach $1 Million by 2033
A simulation of 10,000 Bitcoin price scenarios by Willy Woo, an on-chain analyst, indicates that in the median scenario, the price of this cryptocurrency will reach approximately $1.03 million in February 2033. This trajectory will experience a 43% drop from the peak of the 2028 cycle before reaching such a price. Woo emphasized that this model does not provide a definitive price prediction and, based on his calculations, the range of $241,000 to $413,000 could be the potential peak for Bitcoin in the 2028 cycle. In a more pessimistic scenario, the price never reaches one million dollars. Woo used the Monte Carlo simulation method to examine potential price paths. The data for this model is limited to the market bottom of 2018 to the bottom of 2022. The model assumes that Bitcoin's returns in each cycle will be less than in the previous cycle. In the median scenario, Bitcoin will reach a peak of $413,000 in December 2028 and then decline to around $234,000 by April 2030. In the more pessimistic scenario, the price will not exceed $241,000 in 2028 and then drop to about $126,000. The extreme scenarios have greater divergence; one of the scenarios predicts a price of $1.44 million in March 2029.
