TRM Labs Secures Additional Investment from Existing Investors, Valuation Reaches $2 Billion
TRM Labs completed a $70 million Series C funding round in September 2025 and has secured additional investment from existing investors just six months later, doubling its valuation to $2 billion. CEO Esteban Castano stated that the company's mission has expanded from blockchain forensics to a broader mapping of cybercrime, with AI becoming the second growth engine while the core crypto business remains strong. The company is set to launch a new investigative platform specifically targeting AI-driven deepfake fraud, sextortion, and child sexual abuse crimes. Castano noted that the widespread adoption of cryptocurrency has made comprehensive mapping of crime networks possible, and the company expects to reach a $100 million annual recurring revenue milestone in the coming weeks, with approximately 500 employees and offices in London, Singapore, and Washington.
