Unified Social Insurance Contributions Increased by 18.7%
In January-August 2026, the revenues from the unified contribution to mandatory state social insurance amounted to UAH 502.6 billion, which is UAH 79.1 billion, or 18.7% more than in the same period last year. In the first eight months of 2025, payers transferred UAH 423.5 billion in the unified social contribution (USC). The unified contribution is paid by employers using hired labor, as well as by individual entrepreneurs and persons engaged in independent professional activities. The funds from the USC are used to finance pensions, payments in case of temporary disability, and accidents at work. The payment of the contribution also affects the formation of insurance experience necessary for the appointment of pensions and social benefits. For the first half of 2026, the revenues from the USC amounted to UAH 370.7 billion, which is 17.8% more than in January-June 2025.
