Crypto Highlights

1)Bitcoin Last Near $77,000–$78,000; May Remain Soft Before Liquidity Rebuilds

Market commentary suggests dollar liquidity is rebuilding, and Bitcoin may remain soft until the Federal Reserve and banks begin expanding their balance sheets again. Bitcoin last traded near $77,000–$78,000 and Ethereum near $2,200–$2,300, both down for four consecutive weeks. Markets are watching the macro-liquidity inflection and risk-asset pricing.

2)NEAR Governance Proposal Passes; Maximum Annual Issuance to Fall to 1.6%

NEAR’s decentralized on-chain governance body House of Stake has voted to pass a proposal that will lower NEAR’s maximum annual issuance rate from 2.5% to 1.6%, to be implemented in phases over 24 months. NEAR fell about 10% over 24 hours. Issuance-reduction expectations and short-term selling pressure jointly affect the price.

Stock Highlights

1)Nasdaq Enters Technical Correction; Semiconductors and Optical Communications Broadly Decline

From yesterday to today, the Nasdaq entered a technical correction. Intel fell another about 9%. After optical-module leader Marvell announced the acquisition of optical-chip leader Lumentum, MRVL fell more than 12%, with a cumulative drop of about 32% over three days, while LITE plunged about 18%. Semiconductors, storage, optical communications and crypto-related sectors broadly declined. Markets remain sensitive to AI-capex returns and M&A integration risks.

2)Apple Sold Off Despite Beating Expectations

Apple fell another about 2.5% after hours on Monday. Fiscal 2026 fourth-quarter revenue was $114.48 billion, up 11.7% year on year, and EPS was $2.10, both above expectations. iPhone revenue surged 17.5% year on year to about $57.6 billion, and Mac rose nearly 24%. Management guided next-quarter gross margin down to 45%–46%, below the analyst estimate of about 46.3% and a clear drop from this quarter’s 47.9%, mainly due to rising storage prices and AI-related costs. Although next-quarter revenue-growth guidance of 7%–10% was above expectations, sharp prior-month gains, elevated valuation, weaker-than-expected regional results, slowing services growth and margin pressure triggered profit-taking.

Spot: AAPL
Futures: AAPL

3)Palantir Third-Quarter Results Strong; Falls More Than 4% After Hours

Palantir reported 2026 third-quarter results with revenue of $2.313 billion, up 96% year on year and above the $2.17 billion estimate. Adjusted EPS was $0.44, above the $0.40 estimate. Operating profit was $1.08 billion with an adjusted operating margin of 62%. Core-market revenue rose 119% year on year and 23% sequentially to $1.937 billion. The company guided fourth-quarter revenue of $2.649–$2.653 billion and raised full-year revenue outlook to $8.53–$8.534 billion. Core commercial revenue full-year expectation was raised to more than $3.559 billion, with growth of at least 143%.

4)Anthropic Pre-Market Contracts Fall More Than 6%; Net Loss Widens

Anthropic said its third-quarter net loss was $23.3 billion, versus $12.1 billion in the year-ago period. Adjusted operating income for the three months ended September 30, 2026 rose to $2.5 billion. The tech-stock selloff has dragged Anthropic’s large IPO valuation expectation down from $2 trillion to the $1.5 trillion range.
Watchlist: ANTHROPIC
Futures: ANTHROPIC

5)Oil Falls More Than 4%; Negotiation Signals Boost Supply Expectations

Reports said negotiation parties released positive signals, with lifting the blockade and unfreezing funds as key demands, and oil fell more than 4%. Outside parties hope for progress in this round of mediation, but relevant sources believe the probability of a new round of military strikes remains higher than reaching an agreement. Multiple parties have called for a political solution and opposed restarting military action. Near-term oil prices are affected by negotiation progress and geopolitical-risk pricing.
