XRP Ledger Daily Payment Volume Reaches 858 Million
The daily payment volume on the XRP Ledger has reached 858 million, marking one of the highest daily values. This increase has raised questions about the network's capacity to sustain transactions at this scale. Recent data shows that the XRP payment volume stands at 693.6 million. Although this figure is 19.2% below the peak of 858 million, it is above the 30-day average of 674.5 million. The approach of daily transfers to the 700 million mark indicates the formation of a new normal for the network. The XRP Ledger is distinguished by its cross-border money transfers and rapid settlement capabilities. The network had reached an all-time high of 7 billion dollars during the most active market periods. However, one-time jumps are not seen as sufficient for the daily volume to permanently settle at the billion threshold. Industry observers note that significant volume increases typically follow regulatory clarity, exchange listings, or announcements of institutional adoption. The 30-day average of 674.5 million indicates that an additional increase of approximately 48% is needed to reach a daily volume of 1 billion. The opening of new payment corridors and the expansion of institutional partnerships are among the effective factors in surpassing this threshold. XRP Ledger data reveals that there are 20,500 ledger entries closing at intervals of 3.86 seconds, and 17,900 active accounts indicate that user engagement is being maintained at a healthy level.
