XRPL Amendment Vote Reset, Earliest Activation Window Moved to November 4
The XRPL maintenance amendment fixCleanup3_4_0 has restarted the activation clock after losing majority validator support during the first countdown. It regained majority support on October 21, moving the earliest activation window to November 4, but must maintain support. A snapshot taken on October 24 at 07:09 UTC showed that 32 out of 35 trusted validators supported the amendment, with a support rate of 91.43%. The new majority support timestamp is October 21 at 14:46:22 UTC. The amendment was first attempted to be activated on October 9 but lost majority on October 21 due to not meeting the requirement of continuous support for two weeks, thus resetting the timer. According to the rules, over 80% of trusted validators must continuously support for two weeks for activation; if this percentage falls below that, the timer resets. November 4 is only a conditional earliest activation window. This technical fix package involves features such as vaults, lending, AMM, permissioned transactions, trust lines, and NFTs.
