Anthropic Finalizes $15 Billion Pre-IPO Revolving Credit Facility
AI company Anthropic is set to finalize an expansion of its revolving credit facility to $15 billion, clearing the way for its IPO filing in the U.S. This amount significantly exceeds the company's previous target of around $10 billion and the $2.5 billion five-year revolving credit facility it secured last year. Morgan Stanley will lead this credit arrangement, with Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, and Citigroup playing significant roles; these four institutions are also the main underwriters for Anthropic's IPO, with Barclays and Wells Fargo expected to play key roles as well. According to insiders, the amount Anthropic plans to raise through the IPO could reach or even exceed that of SpaceX. The company currently has an annualized revenue exceeding $65 billion, and the specific size of the IPO and details of the credit arrangement may still change.
