The Bitcoin market is facing multiple pressures, yet market sentiment remains calm. Recent influencing factors include the Coldcard wallet attack, weak institutional demand, and uncertainties in the regulatory and macroeconomic environment, but there are no significant signs of panic in the market. The 30-day implied volatility index for Bitcoin options, BVIV, has continued to decline, currently dropping to 36%, the lowest level since May 31, significantly down from nearly 60% in early June. BVIV reflects the market's expectations for future price volatility, typically rising when investors seek options protection or hedge against risks. Analysts point out that despite the frequent bad news, the market has not shown panic, which could be seen as a bullish signal, indicating that Bitcoin has room for further upward movement. However, volatility tends to exhibit mean-reverting characteristics; when the indicator falls to historically low levels, it often leads to a rebound. Currently, BVIV is close to previous support levels, and if volatility rises rapidly in the future, it may be accompanied by significant directional movements in Bitcoin, requiring traders to remain vigilant.
