Long-term holders of Bitcoin (LTH) have reached a historic high of over 16.3 million BTC, with an average holding cost of approximately $49,400. Currently, based on the current price, the unrealized profit level for long-term holders is only about 30%, which is relatively low. In contrast, in January 2025, the net unrealized profit for long-term holders peaked at around 340%. Analysts point out that at the end of the last bear market, long-term holders were generally in a state of about 20% unrealized loss, and the market eventually experienced a deeper correction. There is still a possibility for further market corrections in the future, which could push long-term holders back into the loss zone, but this is not necessarily a repeat of historical patterns. Investors should prepare for both scenarios of market upswings and corrections.
