According to an analysis by CryptoRank, the concentration of assets has recovered to levels seen in 2021, with Bitcoin's share among the top assets increasing. This analysis focuses on the top 100 assets excluding stablecoins, which differs from the overall Bitcoin market share in the cryptocurrency market. The market has seen an increase in the share held by a few leading assets, including Bitcoin, while the proportion of funds allocated to altcoins outside the top tier has decreased. In this structure, even if the overall market size increases, the gains may not be evenly distributed across multiple assets, and changes in the market capitalization of specific large assets can significantly impact the concentration of the top 100 assets. This analysis serves as an indicator of how much the market capitalization of the cryptocurrency market is concentrated in a few large assets.
