David Schwartz Denies Claims of Secret Plans for XRP
Ripple's chief architect of the XRP Ledger, David Schwartz, has denied claims that a GIF of a bagpipe he shared on social media contained a secret message regarding XRP. The discussion began after Schwartz shared the image in response to an online controversy. Some investors suggested that the instrument had a symbolic meaning connected to XRP. Schwartz has explicitly rejected long-circulating claims of secret plans and high price predictions for XRP. According to him, investors are misleading themselves based on unverified narratives. Schwartz argued that predictions of $10,000 per token are unrealistic, stating that the current market price should have reflected such a possibility much earlier. He also emphasized that his personal social media posts should not be seen as encrypted signals to investors. While Schwartz appreciates the community's sense of humor, he opposes the idea that this approach could be interpreted as investment advice. Symbols and community behaviors in the crypto market influence investor interest. In the meme token market, investors' actions can quickly translate into millions of dollars in interest.
