In July, the Ukrainian vehicle fleet was supplemented by more than 3,900 electric vehicles. Demand for electric vehicles decreased by 44% compared to July 2025. The majority of sold BEVs were passenger cars — 3,756 units, of which 423 were new (-73%), and 3,333 were used (-37%). Among 172 commercial BEVs, only 14 units were new. The top 5 new electric vehicles in July were: 1. BYD Sea Lion 06 EV — 73 units; 2. BYD Leopard 3 — 40 units; 3. Volkswagen ID.UNYX — 39 units; 4. Zeekr 001 — 36 units; 5. Zeekr 7X — 28 units. The top 5 imported used electric vehicles were: 1. Tesla Model Y — 509 units; 2. Tesla Model 3 — 456 units; 3. Nissan Leaf — 383 units; 4. Chevrolet Bolt — 209 units; 5. KIA Niro EV — 139 units. The share of electric vehicles in new passenger car sales in Ukraine decreased to 7.3% from 24.7% a year earlier. Hybrids increased their share from 21.2% to 31.2%, while cars with gasoline and diesel engines accounted for over 61% of the market.
