Electric Vehicle Sales in Ukraine Fell by 47% in August
In August, over 4,200 electric vehicles were sold in Ukraine, which is a 47% decrease compared to August 2025. Among them, 4,074 were passenger cars, including 503 new (-73%) and 3,571 used (-39%). Out of 160 commercial BEVs, only 2 were new. The top 5 new electric vehicles were: 1. BYD Sea Lion 06 EV - 102 units; 2. Zeekr 001 - 46 units; 3. Zeekr 7X - 44 units; 4. MG4 EV - 36 units; 5. Toyota BZ4X - 33 units. The top 5 imported used electric vehicles were: 1. Tesla Model Y - 494 units; 2. Tesla Model 3 - 480 units; 3. Nissan Leaf - 454 units; 4. Chevrolet Bolt - 199 units; 5. Hyundai Ioniq 5 - 160 units. The share of electric vehicles in new passenger car sales decreased to 10.2% from 27.9% a year earlier, while the share of hybrids increased from 23.4% to 32.9%. In August, 20,700 used passenger cars were also imported, which is 9% less than a year earlier.
