Meituan LongCat Core Team Leaders Pei Peng and Su Hui Resign

The head of Meituan LongCat's text foundation model and native multimodal, Pei Peng, has confirmed his departure and will no longer participate in team decision-making. LongCat's post-training leader, Su Hui, has also left to join another leading company. Pei Peng was responsible for the text foundation, native multimodal, and pre-training, and was involved in advancing LongCat-2.0. Su Hui was in charge of aligning, fine-tuning, and reinforcement learning for the LongCat series models, as well as overseeing the Agent project Beam. Both individuals held key roles in the model training process. On July 27, Meituan denied Pei Peng's resignation.
