Serenity: AI Supply Chain Demand Continues to Grow, Storage and Other Segments Enter Long-Term Expansion
Serenity released an AI industry chain observation on platform X, pointing out that the demand for AI infrastructure is driving multiple segments, including storage, advanced packaging, computing power financing, optical communication, power supplies, and electronic components, into a long-term expansion cycle. The AI supply chain remains in a phase of rapid growth. In the storage sector, UBS predicts that traditional DRAM manufacturers (such as Micron) may see gross margins reach 95% by 2027, surpassing the gross margin levels of HBM products. SanDisk's long-term agreements cover about two-thirds of its capacity through 2028, with minimum contract revenue reaching $93 billion, and a current market value of approximately $239 billion, indicating that future revenue targets may persist for several years. In terms of cloud computing infrastructure, CoreWeave has signed an agreement to use NVIDIA A100 GPU services until 2029, which is favorable for new cloud computing companies and weakens some investors' bearish logic regarding the rapid depreciation of older GPUs. The growth rate of AI model companies continues to exceed expectations, with the market anticipating that Anthropic's revenue could reach between $190 billion and $200 billion by 2028. Nevertheless, advanced packaging and semiconductor infrastructure remain core bottlenecks. The head of TSMC indicated that the industry may face storage shortages and tight supply of ABF substrates in the coming years. Serenity concludes that the AI infrastructure supply chain is continuously expanding, with all segments showing a long-term demand growth trend, and the AI supply chain remains in a phase of rapid development.
