Despite facing a redemption pressure of $633 million, Spark's spUSDT has maintained its yield and liquidity. According to on-chain observations by analyst WalleDAO, spUSDT has successfully navigated a significant redemption period, indicating that Spark's liquidity structure operates effectively under actual stress conditions. spUSDT is a yield-bearing vault token received by depositing Tether into Spark Savings V2, with the deposited assets backed by USDS. Spark has stated that Savings V2 supports 24-hour withdrawals and is designed to handle transactions over $100 million without significant market impact. Currently, the deposit amount for spUSDT stands at $405.4 million, with an annual yield of 2.75%. The external risk assessment agency Credora has assigned an A- rating and a 0.46% Probability of Default Loss (PSL) to the Tether vault. This redemption response is related to Spark's emergence as a liquidity hub in the stablecoin market. Spark has previously maintained liquidity, but whether it can sustain the same yield and liquidity during future repeated large-scale redemptions will need to be validated with additional data.
