Stablecoin Market Cap Decreases by $414.38 Million, DEX Spot Trading Increases by 7.95%
The market capitalization of stablecoins has decreased by $414.38 million, while the spot trading volume on decentralized exchanges (DEX) has increased by 7.95% compared to the previous week. The perpetual trading volume on DEX has decreased by 7.78%. The total market capitalization of stablecoins exceeds $150 billion, and this decrease is part of the market's fluctuations. Stablecoins are used as waiting funds for trading and as a means of payment, and it cannot be concluded that market funds have exited solely due to a decrease in supply. There are suggestions that some funds may have moved to Bitcoin or other virtual assets, but there is no direct evidence. The increase in spot trading volume and the decrease in perpetual trading volume suggest that actual token exchange activities have grown larger than leveraged trading. Public companies have net purchased 1,615 Bitcoins, with an estimated value of about $126.15 million. The amount of Ethereum purchased varies according to the data, with Bitmain reporting an additional 27,180 Ethereum. The total market capitalization of stablecoins is $305.059 billion, reflecting a decrease of $384.98 million over the past week. Crypto Briefing interpreted the increase in spot trading and the corporate purchases of Bitcoin and Ethereum as an indication that the market is not contracting but rather adjusting asset allocation.
